The CS department spring picnic is here!
The CSGSC & UPE cordially invite all faculty, staff and students to the 2013 Spring Picnic. The picnic will be on Thursday, April 11 from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at the Sunset Canyon Rec Center Picnic Area on campus. A map of the area may be found here.
Please join us for an afternoon of free food and activities. Family members and significant others are also welcome to attend. A variety of hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers and snacks will be provided, so please come hungry!
If you have any fun activities that you wish to share (e.g. frisbee, soccer balls), you are welcome to bring those as well.
We hope to see everyone there!

The Spring CS Department Picnic is here!
Students, staff, faculty, and family are welcome to come by the Sunset Recreation Upper Picnic Area (map) on Friday, May 11th, between 3-6pm. There will be sunshine, food on the grill, and brilliant conversations.
The picnic is sponsored by the CS department, and co-hosted with UPE.

$CONTEST 2011 - "So you think you can present?" was held on April 7th, 2011. Six presenters were chosen to battle it out in a fight for glory and riches. The winners were chosen by audience vote.
Dr. Maria "Lolo" Penedo, Professor Leonard Kleinrock, and Professor Eddie Kohler served as judges and provided feedback to the speakers.
The contest was sponsored by the Northrop Grumman Future Technical Leaders Program and organized by the Computer Science Graduate Student Committee.
The majority of the event was arranged by Keith Stevens, and Peter Peterson served as MC.
